The Opportunity

As a Senior Medical Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping OncoBeta’s technical future. You’ll work closely with Radiochemistry, Quality Management, Product Management, and Regulatory Affairs teams to drive innovative solutions.

What You’ll Do

· Drive Manufacturing Expansion: Drive the global scaling of OncoBeta’s manufacturing system, including building production lines in South Africa, Australia, Europe, and other markets.

· Collaborate Globally: Build strong partnerships with supply chain partners and hardware vendors to integrate and support seamless manufacturing operations.

· Enhance Processes: Develop and implement advanced manufacturing techniques to boost efficiency, quality, and scalability.

· Manage Technical Documentation: Oversee technical documentation and regulatory compliance, ensuring everything is accurate and up-to-date.

· Foster Teamwork: Lead cross-functional projects with Marketing & Sales, Technical, and Quality Management Systems (QMS) teams to meet organizational goals.

· Ensure Compliance: Champion quality standards by ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, and MRD.

· Drive Innovation: Spearhead product design, R&D initiatives, and project management activities from scoping to execution.

 

What We’re Looking For

· Education: A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Design Engineering or similar is required (Master’s preferred).

· Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience, with a strong motivation to take the lead in planning and executing of key activities

· Skills:

o Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and hardware systems.

o Proficiency in IT systems and basic programming skills, with the ability to develop, implement, or troubleshoot software tools and solutions as needed

o Excellent project management skills to oversee complex, budget-conscious initiatives.

o Strong problem-solving abilities and a drive for continuous improvement.

o Strong ability to analyze very complex situations in unknown environments.

o Ability to work in a fast-paced, international team environment with multiple priorities.

o Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
